I have been learning how to skate for the past few months, thanks to my boyfriend and my other longboarding friends. It took me a while, but I finally found a board that I wanted. I ordered it a while ago and it came in yesterday!
I’m in the process of prepping it up for painting and a bit of designing. I can’t wait to ride it… although I still need to find wheels =p

I turned in my first video project for my digital media class a couple of weeks ago, and it was received by the class pretty well. I was very relieved and surprised.
The theme for my videos is dance. My first set of videos is a quick and basic Lindy-Hop how-to:
For the next set, I tried to explore repetition and remixing to see if I could get any interesting effects or reactions:
My next video project involves doing something a bit out of my comfort zone, but I’ll try to experiment and see if I can produce some interesting work again. I have found that working under pressure results in good stuff.
